My Birthday Books

My hubby is a great guy...He kept asking me what I wanted for my birthday. I kept telling him I didn't know or didn't care (depending on what day I was having). Finally, I told him to just take me to the bookstore. He listened and bought me two AWESOME books.

Finally some pics from our Vacation

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I ran away for a week to Turner Falls in Davis, OK. I went there as a kid and loved it. My parents always said we would go back. But we never did.

But I did and had a blast!!! We rented a cabin for the week.

Played in the creek.

Roasted marshmallows.We had to drive over this small fall every time we left the park. The kids thought that was too cool.

On a brighter note, been crafting. Here lately, crafting is my out. I made these pot holders/dishcloths for my wonderful boss. He saw me making me some and asked for some.

I finished my first project from the One-Piece Wearables: 25 Chic Garments and Accessories to Sew from Single Pattern Pieces . I made the Carry All Alter Ego Bag. I made it for my friend Nancy (who's bday is the day after mine). I made it and filled it with goodies. I made her a birhtday card too.

Struggling today...

Today has not been a good day and it is only morning.

I have all of these things going in my head and I just can't seem to work through them.

I feel like I am in a cloud that just won't dissipate.

I thought I was dealing with my grief, but I am not.

It still hurts and I still have a hole in my heart.

I am tired of pretending that I am ok. I am not.

I will get through this, just struggling.

Discovered Swap-bot

OMGoodness! I just discovered Swap-Bot.com. I have created an account and have already signed up to participate in a few swaps. I am EXCITED!!! I have signed up for 25 Stamped Images. I will have two partners. The images are senders choice. I have already completed mine and can't wait to see who my partners are. I want to send them their stuff!!!

I also signed up for a couple of more. We shall see....
